Hill House Nursery was founded by Raymond Hubbard and his late, first, wife, Valerie.

Now run by Ray and his son, Matthew, the nursery has flourished as a well known venue for serious and casual gardeners. Featuring a combination of the more exotic plants and the everyday variety, Hill House Nursery caters for all levels and tastes of gardeners.

Many of our customers have said how they prefer our nursery to the average garden centre. As one customer put it: "The staff here know about plants and planting. You get good advice with good service.".

Our plant prices are extremely competitive and are sometimes up to 50% cheaper than London. With our new online service coming soon, you can take full advantage of our prices.

Don't forget that the garden here (open every day as the nursery is) features many of our plants so if you see something in the garden, the likelihood is you can buy it in the nursery. We are open from 11am to 5pm
