Our garden is open
to the public every day that the Nursery is open and you can see
a variety of plants in a garden environment.
The garden was first
created by Edward Hyams and its basic shape remains the same.
The garden has however grown into a classic English garden through
the vision of Raymond and his late, first, wife, Valerie and Raymond
continues to shape the garden with Sacha.
The garden is right
next to the village churchyard and here you can find the grave
of coachman Thomas Baskerville. When visiting his friends near
by, Conan-Doyle learned their coachman's name and used it in his
famous novel "The Hound of the Baskervilles".
The garden is also
home to a fine example of a rare Pinus Montezumae, which was planted
by Hyams
Should you see a
plant you like in the garden, please feel free to ask what it
is, as it could be available in our nursery.
