This Canna has a
very tropical, almost gaudily coloured leaf
which brings an exotic touch to any garden.
It's a favourite with everyone who sees it
and planted in large clumps, it's truly
spectacular or plant in pots for display on a
terrace. Prepare the soil well, Cannas are
greedy plants and while they'll grow in
almost any soil, they need feeding. The best
position for a Canna is a warm corner
sheltered from wind which can tear the
leaves. In most parts of UK they're probably
best lifted for the winter and kept dry and
frost-free. Divide in spring before
re-planting. 2 - 3 litre pots
