A most unusual,
hard-to-find, Begonia for the plantsman.
Needs frost proof protection in winter. 2l
pot. This has been so popular that we're
busily propagating more as fast as we
can! Keep your plant
in some dappled shade and it would benefit
from being outside in summer.
They
can't take frost but they don't like being in
direct sun, either. Over-winter it in a
frost-free greenhouse and when watering make
sure to let it drain really well, keeping it
only just moist both winter and summer.
It will need less watering in winter,
obviously. If it needs re-potting later
we suggest a half and half mixture of a
coarse, free-draining compost with a peaty
one for nourishment.
