Like its L maculatus cousin, this is a glamorous and exotic trailing plant for baskets and tubs that needs a sun drenched location and well-drained, light compost. It's not hardy so take cuttings or over winter it in a sheltered, frost free spot. 9cm pots (min order requirement of 6 x 9cm pots of your choice e.g. Fuchsias, Salvias, Nemesia Bluebird, Geraniums NB: These are bigger than plugs) NB 9cm pots available early March to end May only
Needs a sunny location to do
its best and its best is stupendous. We use
this trailing plant a great deal in hanging
baskets and tubs. It's quite stunningly
beautiful and exotic and runs out of the
Nursery as soon as it's seen. It attracts
comment from all who see it growing in our
own hanging baskets. Needs well-drained light
compost.
It's not hardy so take cuttings or over
winter it in a sheltered, frost free spot or
treat as an annual.

This pretty little plant bears sugar pink, scented flowers all summer. It's a good one for pots, tubs and hanging baskets and is very pretty along the edge of a path. Sun or partial shade. H&S 12"
This delightful,
fragrant plant was bred here by Raymond. It
has now sold over 11 million plants
worldwide, except in Australasia. The plants
are propagated under licence as Raymond has
Plant Breeder's Rights on it. It is treated
as an annual but we have found that if grown
in a sheltered spot, it goes through the
winter and with a light trim, comes back the
following summer, going on flowering for
months. It's wonderful in hanging baskets or
trailing over the edge of a pot or low wall.
We saw it in California being treated as a
perennial, with dead flowers sheared off to
encourage a surge in new growth in the same
season. We were delighted to see it growing
round the entrance to San Francisco Maritime
Park, too!
