This wonderful climbing rose has to be one of the most generous flowering of the whole rose family. It isn't a repeater but it flowers early and profusely with a faint scent. Its pale yellow, double flowers are in little clusters and each is like a tiny posy. And best of all it doesn't like to be pruned because it flowers on old wood! Only cut away what you don't want. Some say it's not too hardy but growing on the house wall, it survived winter here in 62/63, one of the coldest on record and also the winter of 08/09.
